It is a study program that aims to train students to provide health care to women during and after pregnancy and childbirth.

Program information

Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)
  1. Scientific knowledge: The graduate will be able to understand the physiological processes of pregnancy and childbirth and the health problems associated with women.
  2. Practical skills: The graduate has the ability to provide comprehensive gynecological care, evaluate gynecological cases, and implement and manage deliveries.
  3. Communication skills: The graduate has effective communication skills with women and their families, and can direct the learning outcomes of the Bachelor of Midwifery program to be as follows:
    • The ability to evaluate and care for women: The graduate must be able to evaluate women’s health and diagnose normal and pathological conditions related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the period Postpartum.
    • The ability to manage childbirth and deal with complications: The graduate must be able to carry out and manage natural births and deal with possible complications that may arise during childbirth.
    • Health advice and guidance: The graduate must have effective communication skills to provide health advice and guidance to women on general gynecological care, including family planning, breastfeeding, proper nutrition and infant care.
    • Communication and Collaboration: The graduate must be able to communicate and interact effectively with women and their families. The graduate must deal with women with sensitivity and respect and build trusting relationships with them.
Graduate jobs available
  1. Hospitals and medical centers: Graduates can work in midwifery and childbirth departments in hospitals and health centers and provide gynecological care for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
  2. Private midwifery clinics: Graduates can also open private midwifery clinics to provide health care to women, follow up on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  3. Scientific research and teaching: Graduates can work in the academic and research field, related to mothers and children.
