Scholarships offered by the university

Competitive scholarships for academic levels:

  • These scholarships are provided to ease the financial burdens of students who demonstrate academic excellence during the academic levels and are allocated to the top three places in the academic levels. Each center has its own percentage and is renewed annually according to the achieved positions.
  • Admission criteria: Achieving one of the top three places in the batch in the academic levels.
  • Required documents: A list of the top students in the levels for each academic year approved by the college.

Academic Excellence Scholarships:

  • Awarded to students with the highest scores in the entrance exams.
  • Admission Criteria: This scholarship requires the highest percentage in the parallel system entrance exam.
  • Required Documents: Entrance exam results.

Scholarships for International Students:

  • It aims to attract outstanding international students to study at the university and applications are submitted through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education through embassies and cultural attachés.
  • Admission criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on the standards and requirements of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
  • Required documents: Translated high school certificate, English language certificate, and a letter of address from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Special needs grants:

  • Provided to support students with special needs, to ensure their access to education.
  • Admission criteria: Provide proof of disability.
  • Required documents: Medical report, special application form.

Research Scholarships:

  • Awarded to outstanding students who are ranked first in their class and participate in outstanding research projects.
  • Admission Criteria: The student must achieve first place in their class and submit an acceptable research proposal.
  • Required Documents: Research proposal, recommendation from an academic supervisor.

University Activities Grants:

  • Dedicated to outstanding students in the activities conducted by the university.
  • Admission criteria: Proof of participation in the activities conducted by the university and obtaining first places is required.
  • Required documents: Certificates of participation, letter of recommendation from a coach.

Grants for the families of martyrs:

  • It is allocated to the relatives of the nation’s martyrs, and the university has a specific share of these grants.
  • Admission criteria: The criteria specified by the Martyrs Foundation.
  • Required documents: A letter of address from the Martyrs Foundation, and a high school certificate.

Ministry of Education and Higher Education Scholarships:

  • A specific share of these scholarships is allocated to the university for successful students who apply for scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
  • Admission criteria: Passing the competitive exam for scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
  • Required documents: The delegation note from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the General Secondary Education Certificate.

Application Procedures

  • Submitting Applications: Students must submit their applications through the Vice-Presidency for Student Affairs.
  • Deadlines: Please follow the university’s official website to know the deadlines for submitting applications.
  • Reviewing Applications: Applications are reviewed by the General Administration of Admission and Registration, and applicants are notified of the results viaابة رئاسة الجامعة لشؤون الطلبة.
