Coordination for registration at the university is done through the electronic portal of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education through the coordination portal link 21umas.edu.ye/s/3

The general policy for admission to the university determines the rates allowed for admission annually according to the admission plans and the capacity submitted by the colleges to the Student Affairs Council, and then submitted to the University Council for approval and submission to the Ministry of Higher Education annually.

In the event that the number of students applying for admission to some specializations exceeds the specified number for admission, the rules of comparison and competition between them are carried out according to measurable scientific standards prepared by the university and approved by the ministry, taking into account adherence to the approved acceptance rates and percentages. The admission system determines annually the methods of comparison between applicants.

The registration and admission system is based on the following:

• Fulfilling registration requirements within a special printed annual guide that takes into account its computerizability.
• Separating registration criteria from admission preference criteria at the level of colleges and departments according to the principle of competition and equal opportunities.
• Preparing a secure, scalable and updatable automated system through which registration and admission processes are managed in terms of announcement, reception, preference and announcement of results. This system takes into account the applicable legislation, the comprehensiveness of the application to all, consistency with the university’s mission and the system’s ability to be reviewed, evaluated and developed on a regular basis.
