It is an educational program specialized in the Department of Anesthesia and Intensive Care. It is one of the most important assisting medical specialties in the medical field, where the student acquires in-depth knowledge of the anesthesia process and its various methods, the skills of assessing patients’ condition, and analyzing vital signs such as: blood pressure and blood oxygen level to determine the appropriate dose for anesthesia, adjustment, preparation and follow-up of the patient. He also learns how to deal with the risks associated with anesthesia and how to react in an emergency

Capabilities of the Graduate

The Medical Center aims in the Anesthesia and Intensive Care Technician program to provide graduates with the basic skills they need to successfully practice the anesthesia profession while providing them with basic skills through the program, which include

  1. The ability to evaluate patients’ condition, understand the patient’s medical history and health condition, and read and analyze vital signs to determine the appropriate dose for anesthesia.
  2. The ability to perform anesthesia procedures in a safe and effective manner, adjust the dose, and administer medications accurately.
  3. The ability to deal with and manage potential risks during anesthesia
  4. The ability to use and handle medical equipment
