Sana’a – Under the auspices and in the presence of His Excellency the rector of the university, Prof. Mojahed Ali Measar, the e-learning unit, in cooperation with the center of development and quality assurance and the supervision of the vice-rectorship for academic affairs held today a workshop on e-learning system and creating official accounts for the academic staff in google scholar.

His Excellency the rector of the university delivered a speech in the workshop in which it was attended by a vast number of academic staff. He appreciated the preparation and organization of the workahop. Despite the unfairness and randomness in the evaluation of the universities, Professor Measar stressed the importance of knowing the mechanism of disseminating and sharing reseach, describing it as a distinguished step in the international classification.

In the workshop, attended by Professor Jamil Mujalli, assistant to vice rector for academic affairs, a number of deans and dean deputies, speeches were given by Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij, vice rector for academic affairs and Professor Muneer Al-Wasabi, dean of development and quality assurance center.They noted that the academic staff must create official accounts and sign in to google scholar in order to disseminate and share their research. Professor Abu-oraij also announced the the time of issuing the first refereed journal, that will be issued by January 2023.
