The program aims to prepare national cadres qualified scientifically and technically in the field of engineering medical equipment and devices to contribute to bridging the current gap in the labor market. Where the program focuses heavily on the aspect of hardware (Hardware) in terms of:
- Develop methods and methods for preventive maintenance of medical equipment
- Installation and maintenance of medical devices
- Handling medical electronics (diagnostics, monitoring and treatment)
- Measurement and processing of medical signals
- Graduating highly trained engineers in the fields of biomedical technology and with sufficient knowledge of biomedical sciences
