●Sana’a – In the presence of His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar and the head of Sana’a club Mr. Ameen Joman, the football team of faculty of medicine was crowned today the university rector’s football cup,1445, following win over the medical center by penalty shootout after the match ended in a draw, 0 / 0.
The match was played in Sana’a Stad in the presence of dean of deanship of environment Professor Ibrahim Al-Hamdi, deputy dean of faculty of medicine Dr. Ahmed Mobarek, assistant secretary general Mr. Rashad Al-Sanani and the staff of the university.
In short, the match ended in a draw and the team of faculty of medicine won by penalty shoutout.
At the end of the event, His Excellency rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar honored Mr. Ameen Joman with a shield for his constant cooperation with the university. Professor Measar honored also captain Ali Al-Non, director-general of activities, with a shield.
After that, the rector of the university presented the cup and gold medal to the team of faculty of medicine who came first in the competition. And the team of medical center came second in the competition so they were given a silver medal.
