Sana’a – The football team of faculty of laboratory medicine were crowned today the university rector’s football cup following win over the medical center by penalty shootout after the match ended in a draw, 2 / 2.

His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar attended the match in which there was fierce competition between the two teams since the first minute. Enthusiastically, the team of laboratory medicine managed to score the first goal in the first half in which they kept a clean sheet. On the contrary, great cheers went up when the team of medical center scored a goal in the seven minute of the second half.
In short, the match ended in a draw and the team of faculty of laboratory medicine won by penalty shoutout.

After the match, the rector of the university presented the cup and gold medal to the team of faculty of laboratory medicine who came first in the competition. And the team of medical center came second in the competition so they were given a silver medal.
