Sana’a – 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences and the Academic Accreditation Council signed today a technical support agreement to get 21 September University obtain the five accreditation certificates for its academic programs. .
The agreement was signed by the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar and the head of the Academic Accreditation Council Professor Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Haboub. It stipulates that the Council shall provide the necessary technical support for the academic programs submitted by the University to obtain the academic program accreditation certificate for the bachelor of pharmaceutical doctor (Pharm) programs. D), clinical pharmacy, laboratory medicine, higher nursing, and medical administration. In the event which was attended by vice-rector for academic affairs Professor Mutaia Abu Oraij, vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research Professor Salim Nasser Al-Riyashi, secretary general of the accreditation council Dr. Mohammed Dhaifallah, the executive director of information technology center at the Ministry of Higher Education Dr. Fouad Hassan Abdel-Razzaq, dean of the development and quality assurance center Professor Muneer Al-Wasabi, and deans of faculties and their deputies for quality affairs, His Excellency the rector of the university delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts made by the Academic Accreditation Council in supporting the academic programs of Yemeni universities to qualify them towards improving their services and obtaining academic accreditation. He also praised the efforts made by the Center of Development and Quality Assurance at the university for getting the academic accreditation.
For his part, the head of the Academic Accreditation Council stressed the importance of getting the universities obtain this national academic entitlement as it is the only extension for obtaining international academic accreditation. Al-Haboub expressed the council’s appreciation for the leadership and staff of 21 September University for their keenness to obtain academic accreditation.
