Sana’a – His Excellency Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the rector of 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences – head of the Supreme Medical Council, attended today the ceremony of honoring the first batch of vascular surgery.
He regarded the first batch of vascular surgery as a quantum leap in the health sector, as it is one of the rare specialties that Yemen lacks.

Professor Measar praised the efforts exerted by the staff for training the cadres under the difficult circumstances that the country is going through as a result of the continued aggression and siege imposed on our country. He also praised the role of the leadership of the ministry of health and its interest in all medical specialties of the Yemeni Board and the different medical fields.
The ceremony was organized by the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Public Health and Population, Prof. Taha Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, and the Vice rector for academic affairs – assistant secretary-general of the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties, Prof. Mutea Abu Areej.
