The Minister of Health stressed that the aggression contributed to spreading epidemics and diseases in Yemen, pointing out that there are two and a half million people suffering from liver diseases, which requires more efforts and access to various scientific researches to prevent this disease and limit its spread.
He referred to the ministry’s efforts to find specialized centers for liver surgery and transplantation, stressing that work is currently underway to equip a specialized center at the Republican Hospital Authority in Sana’a, in light of the presence of 10,000 patients in need of kidney transplantation.
