Sana’a -The leadership, academic and administrative staff and students, represented by His Excellency the rector of 21 September University Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, condemned the barbaric western actions directed at the islamic sanctities and values, the latest of which is the crime of burning a copy of the holy Quran in Sweden. They indicated in a statement issued today, ” these action against the Holy Book of Allah reflect the immorality and disclaiming any responsibility for actions contradict the values and sanctities, the perpetrator especially received permission from his country’s government to burn the Holy Quran and he was protected by the police while committing the act.”The statement warned of the consequences of such provocations.

The statement added, “the act of burning copies of the Holy Qur’an is a crime and a provocative incitement to more than two billion Muslims in various continents of the world”.

The statement called on the Yemeni people for a wide participation to express their anger and rejection of those repeated abuses of the islam enemies to the sanctities, the latest of which is the crime of burning a copy of the Holy Qur’an in Sweden, which represents a war against Islam and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims.
