●Sana’a – The university’s internal inspection team, headed by the dean of the quality center, Professor Muneer Musleh Al-Wissabi visited today the self-evaluation team at faculty of laboratory medicine.
Professor Muneer Al-Wissabi said that the visit is the second one of the visits which target all faculties of the university to provide technical support and check the files related to the application of the faculty’s academic program accreditation standards.
He added that such visit has come in preparation for sending the self-evaluation study with the relevant files to academic accreditation Council and receiving the external evaluation team with the aim of obtaining the academic accreditation certificate.
So the four-day- visit came within the framework of the ongoing visits to provide technical support carried out by the center to qualify the academic programs for the faculties of clinical pharmacy, laboratory medicine, medical administration, and higher nursing acocording to the technical support agreement that was signed with the council of academic accreditation last past month.
It is worth noting that the center of development and quality assurance is making preparations to hold workshops to review and discuss the outcomes of the self-evaluation processes of the university’s academic programs and their level according to the standards of private academic (programmatic) accreditation derived from the standards of the World Federation for Medical Sciences (WFME). Thus, these procedures aim to discuss plans for continuous improvement of the educational process to keep on excellence and improve outcomes in various programs.
