Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar and supervision of Professor Ibrahim Al-Hamdi dean of environment deanship, the fifth training course in first aid and rapid response was held today’s morning. It is organized by department of medical training and rehabilitation at continuous learning center, deanship of environment and community service. The course is a part of the training program that includes 15 taining courses target nearly 1100 students from different faculties of the university. The course is designed to help students develop their medical skills in a way that improves their levels before the internship. So, the number of participants was 45 trainees from department of midwifery, medical center. Professor Ibrahim Al-Hamdi stressed the importance of attending the course that is obligatory for all students.
Dr. Majdi Helpoup, the trainer of the course, reviewed the theoretical part which was about the concepts of first aid, the medical terms, the qualities of paramedic and the types of first aid. The event was attended by Dr. Yousef Al-Makhrefi, director of the center.
