Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university, Prof. Mojahed Ali Measar , the faculty of medical technology held publicizing for its strategy and programs (medical information technology program – medical engineering technology program) as part of the events of the first scientific conference of the university, in cooperation with the center of development and quality assurance.
The publicizing workshop was attended by vice rector for postgraduate studies and scientific research Prof. Salim Al-Riyashi, a number of academic and administrative staff at the university, review and evaluation team for the faculty programs, and representatives of both the labor market and community for each major.

For his part, the founder of the faculty and its ex-dean Prof. Jamil Ahsen Mujalli -assistant to vice rector for academic affairs and dean of faculty of medical administration gave a speech in which he stated the idea and goal through which the faculty was established, and the positive motives that made the university leadership answer the call of reality and the requirements of the current time to open this qualitative faculty.

For his part, the dean of the faculty, head of the department of medical information yechnology, Dr./ Abdul Rahman Mohammed Obaid pointed out thd importance of the faculty, its aspirations, and the scarcity of its programs, which are considered the first sole faculty at the national and regional level which offers a bachelor’s degree in medical information technology.
