Sana’a – Under the auspices of the Supreme Medical Council and in the presence of His Excellency the rector of the university – head of Supreme Medical Council – secretary general of the society, Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the Yemeni neurosurgery Society organized today a celebration in honor of graduate doctors who obtained Yemeni fellowship certificates, and graduate doctors who obtained Arab fellowship certificates in the specialty of neurosurgery with a number of 17 doctors.

Professor Mojahed Measar congratulated the graduates for obtaining Yemeni and Arab fellowship certificates, urging them to make more scientific gains in such important medical field, and to pay the zakat of their knowledge as their professors did.

Professor Measar thanked all the academic and medical staff and the Yemeni council for medical specialties, indicating that thanks to their efforts after Allah for graduating such constellation of doctors who would be qualitative addition in the field of neurosurgery.

At the ceremony, which was attended by vice-rector for academic affairs Professor Mutaia Abu Oraij – assistant secretary-general of Yemeni society for medical specialties and  Dr. Mohammed Al-Qaiti, deputy head of the society, a number of speeches were delivered by deputy minister of higher education and scientific research Prof Ali Sharaf Al-Din and secretary-general of Yemeni council for medical specialties Dr. Athmar Hussein, touching on the importance of qualifying the medical staff for meeting the needs of the homeland in the field of medicine. At the end of the event, the graduates were honoured with appreciation certificates.
