Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of the university – the head of Supreme Medical Council Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, confirmed that 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences and Medical Council are ready to provide all aspects of technical support and cooperation for those medical specialties at Al-Baidah university, since the community service is collective responsibility, and efforts and cooperation must be connected each other to achieve victory and overcome the enemy who aimed at destroying universities and education in Yemen.

This came during his speech delivered today at the opening ceremony of the fourth scientific conference of Al-Baidah University which was inaugurated by His Excellency Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mr. Hussein Ali Hazeb, in the presence of Minister of Justice, Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, the head of the Academic Accreditation Council Professor Ahmed Al-Haboub, and the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees- deputy secretary of the capital Professor Amin Jamaan, and the dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the University Professor Muneer Al-Wessabi.

In his speech, His Excellency the university rector praised the scientific activites held by Al-Baidah University, including such qualitative and expanded conference, despite the challenges of the blockade, aggression and the economic repercussions which represent a challenge to many educational institutions in Yemen. His Excellency also referred to the effort made by professors and researchers at Al-Bayda University and various national universities for their steadfastness to perform their sacred scientific mission and their interest in scientific research, and their enriching participation in these conferences, which are a major support in the field of scientific research which is foundation for scientific development in various fields.

The inauguration was attended by a number of leaders of Ministry of Higher Education, rectors of public and private universities, deputy governors, and a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council.
