Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of the university – head of Supreme Medical Council Professor Mojahed Ali Measar along with deputy minister of health Motaher Al-Marwani and the rector of Jiblah university Professor Abdullah Al-Matari, launched the first medical licensing exam at Jiblah university, 2023.

At the launch, which was attended by a member of the Medical Council, Prof. Yahya Al-Hadi, and the director of health office in Ibb Governorate, Dr. Abdullah Al-Samawi, the head of the Medical Council professor Mojahed Measar confirmed that the medical licensing exams are proceeding in an organized, progressive manner to ensure the continuation of raising the efficiency of the medical field outputs in various specialties.

Professor Measar stressed that these exams, which have proven their efficiency and thus resulted in the outputs of their objectives, come to ensure the improvement of performance of the staff working in medical facilities and to reduce the occurrence of medical errors, or deficiencies in the outputs of universities and medical and health institutes, Praising the host and distinguished arrangement of the University of Jiblah with all its staff for organizing the exams, which helped the council achieve its goal and its endeavor towards generalizing its establishment in all governorates, to reduce the financial burdens and the hardship of traveling on the medical and health staff to the capital, Sana’a.

It is worth mentioning that the number of examinees who have BA degree is 208, while the nunmber of those who have diploma is 568.
