●Sana’a -A meeting was held today between His Excellency the rector of the university, Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, and the director general of the general postal authority Mr/ Ammar Wuhan.They discussed the relations, areas of cooperation and coordination between the university and the authority as well as the common areas related to the organization and development of services, E-wallet and visa postcard.

In the meeting, His Excellency the rector of the university expressed his appreciation to the authority and its members for the distinguished services and dealings as a result of the digital transformations witnessed by the Post, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation and the true joint partnership between the University and the Post by providing more facilities and postal services to the university’s staff and students, considering the university a strategic partner in the service of the people.

During the meeting, which was attended by the secretary general, Mr. Abdul-Qahir Al-Asali, director general of the rector’s office, Mr. Hussein Al-Sheikh, director general of entitlement, Mr. Abdel-Baset Al-Thabhani, and director general of IT, Engineer Saqr Harrash, His Excellency the rector of the university stated that the staff of the university are happy with the Post dealing in different services.

Pofessor Measar touched on the aspect of linking all university systems to the digital platform, and the possibility of opening an account for the student through it, so that such a strategy would help in paying university fees more easily and alleviates the difficult circumstances that students face.

In the meeting, which was attended Hassan Al-Adhri, director general of Yemen wallet; Mohammed Al-Mutawakel, director general of digital payment platforms; Fayez Saif Al-Banna, director general of postal savings; and Ammar Al-Sadah,director general of post office of Capital Secretariat; the director-general of the post expressed his happiness for the distinguished dealings, cooperation and keenness shown by the university leadership for the success of the authority’s work. Wuhan stressed that the post office is keen on continuous development and modernization to keep pace with the challenges and rapid updates in the financial field and electronic transactions.
