Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of the university – the head of the Supreme Medical Council, Prof. Mojahed Ali Measar, and the head of the medical committee in the Parliament, visited today the National Cancer Control Foundation. During the visit in which he was accompanied by Dr. Khaled Swailem, chairman of the investigation and accountability committee in the medical council, and Dr. Motahar Al-Marouni, director general of the health office in the capital Secretariat, Professor Measar was briefed on the services provided by the foundation, and the efforts made to combat and provide treatment and care for cancer patients in the various facilities of the foundation.

His Excellency the rector of the University appreciated those efforts made, by all the foundation staff and sponsors, in the care of cancer patients.
He undelined the need for the care of those patients who belong to that category, adding that all well-off people and businessmen must shoulder to shoulder with the private and state sectors to help cancer patients for alleviating their suffering, especially in light of the hard conditions due to the aggression and blockade on our homeland.
Professor Measar was received by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ansi, deputy head of the National Cancer Control Foundation, and Mr. Tawfeeq Al-Amri, a memberof the foundation’s board of trustees.
