Sana’a – the committee of development and quality assurance held its first meeting in the new academic year 1444 AH. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency the rector of the university, Prof. Mojahed Ali Measar. In the meeting, which was attended by vice rectors, deans, the dean of the center od development and quality assurance, heads of academic quality units, heads of technical units at the center of development and quality assurance, and the director general of information technology, a number of important issues on the committee’s agenda were discussed.

They discussed the following issues:

• Holding an honouring ceremoney for the first top graduates in 1443 AH.
  -Approving the action plan for the current academic year 1444 AH.
• The timed plan for self-evaluation that includes all programs at the university.
• The plan of training and qualifying the staff at the university and the mechanism of implementing the research activities and community service.
• The draft regulations of rector’s award in creativity.
• The guide and mechanism for carrying out the annual evaluation of academic and administrative activities.
