Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of the university – head of the supreme medical council Professor Mojahed Ali Measar had a meeting today with undersecretary of health minister for planning affairs Dr. Abdulmalek Al-Sanani. They discussed a number of issues related to the current situation of health centers and institutes, improving their outputs and enhancing the quality of medical service according to the defined bylaw in field of continuous medical training.
They also touched on integrating and coordinating between the two parties for preparing shared plan and mechanism to conduct situational analysis study for those medical training centers. Accordingly, they set the requirements of granting licence for setting up those centers, standards related to educational courses and academic staff. They stressed that the standards and requirement should meet the needs of the progress of medical educational process in a good manner. The meeting was attended by a number of officials at ministry of health and supreme medical council.
