Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar briefed today on the progress of the training course on ” developing services and streamlining procedures”, executed by the national institute of administrative sciences, participated by 21 September university and a number of governments institutions.

His Excellency the rector of the university listened to the undersecretary of ministry of civil service Abduallah Haider and the course organizers who gave an explanation about the training course, being concluded tomorrow, whose objectives are intended to provide the trainees with skills and practical knowledge of how to develop the services and streamlining the procedures for the citizens as a part of the national vision for building up the modern Yemeni state. They appreciated the skills and background of the university representatives who enrich the course with the valuable information through their postive participations.

For his part, His Excellency the rector of the university gave a speech in which he praised the active role played by minisitry of civil service and the national institute of administrative sciences through developing the skills of state staff for improving the services and streamline the procedures for people.

Professor Measar reviewed the steps done by the university in streamlining the procedures as the first institution which adopted such a policy for the sake of gaining the job satisfaction and avoiding the boring routine that takes time and effort for nothing.

Professor Measar indicated that the university has made great strides in the financial and administrative fields related to students and staff such as electronic exams, electronic corrections, announcing the results at the same day of finishing the exams, e-learning, smart boards, paying incentives and entitlements of the staff via post office…. etc.. He wished the trainees a great success.

For his part, the secretary-general of the university Mr. Abdel-Qaher Al-Asali stressed the importance of this course in developing and improving the skills of the targeted trainees who will play an important role through conveying what they gained and changing it into practical reality at their institutions.
