Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the second batch of faculty of medicine adopted an initiative, entitled ” you are not alone – we are with you”, at Kuwait Hospital for targeting  the patients who suffer from leukemia. It was coincided with the national cancer day on January 1.

The vice rector for academic affairs Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij delivered a speech, appreciating such humanitarian initiatives that have big effect on patients through motivating them to survive with determination and persistence.

The event, supervised by dean of faculty of medicine and in cooperation with Kuwait hospital, included a number of speeches delivered by dean of faculty of medicine, Professor Salwa Al-Qumairi; director general of Kuwait hospital, Professor Akrem Al-Haj; and director of Leukemia center Professor Abdelrahman Al-Hadi.

The event included some of performances of music and entertainment. It came to close with giving different gifts to the patients as well as honouring the intiative organizers and contributors with appreciation certificates.
