Sana’a – In the presence of His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, five graduation projects were discussed at faculty of clinical pharmacy, supervised by the dean of the faculty Professor Ali Al-Yahwi.
The discussion was attended by vice rector for academic affairs Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij, vice rector for graduate studies Professor Salim Al-Riyashi, and a number of deans and their deputies.
The projects were entitled as follows:
- Distribution Pattern of Antibiotic Resistance Bacteria Among Intensive Care Unit Patients in a Public Hospital and a Private One in Sana’a City
-Assessment of Venous Thromboembolism Prophylaxis in Surgical Patients Based on Caprini Risk Assessment Model
- Evaluating the prevalence of potential drug-drug interactions of direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) among adult patients in Sana’a city, from January 2022 to January 2023
-Ventilator-associated pneumonia antibiotic resistance pattern among ICU patients on mechanical ventilation at a tertiary care hospital in Sana’a, Yemen.
- Evaluation of the Appropriateness of Antibiotic Prophylaxis among Surgical Patients at Two Referral Hospitals in Sana’a, Yemen.
Thus, the discussions of other three projects will be held within the current week.
