Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university – the head of the Supreme Medical Council, Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the third medical licensing exam was taken today at 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences.
The number of examinees was 3380 from different medical specialties.
Vice rector for students affairs, Prof,Khaled Al-Moayyed inspected the progress of the exam process and heard from the head of committees an explanation about the mechanism of the exam.
Professor Al-Moayyed was accompanied by assistant to vice rector for students affairs, Prof. Mohammed Al-Droubi; assistant to vice rector for academic affairs, Prof. Jamil Mujalli; dean of nursing faculty, Prof. Abdul-Hameed Al-Thaifani; dean of development and quality assurance center, Prof. Muneer Al-Wisabi; deans deputies; secretary- general, Mr. Abdul-Qaher Al-Asli; assistant secretary general, Mr. Rashad Al-Sanani and secretary general of the supreme medical council Dr. Fadia Al-Dailami.
The medical licensing exam included the BA graduates from the specialties of medicine; aneasthetics; dentistry; community health; labs; clinical pharmacy; nutrition; nursing; physiotherapy; pharmacy and radiology.
On the other hand; it included diploma graduates from the specialties of dentistry technician; radiology technician; aneasthetic technician; nursing; pharmacy; emergencies; operation technician; midwifery; labs; and paramedic.
