Sana’a – The evaluation committee, chaired by His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Measar, conducted the interviews for applicants of teaching jobs in different fields at faculty of medicine. The committee included vice rector for academic affairs – deputy chairman of interview committee, Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij; assistant to vice rector for academic affairs, Professor Jamil Mujalli; dean of faculty of medicine, Professor Salwa Al-Qumairi; deputy dean for academic affairs at faculty of medicine, Professor Mohammed Al-Eryani; head of clinical affairs, Professor Faris Al-Hijami; head of gynaecology department, Dr. Munira Al-Faeiq; head of pediatrics department, Dr. Nora Noor-adeen; and head of internal medicine department, Dr. Asma’a Al-Henhenah.

To add, the interviews were also attended by vice rector for student affairs, Professor Khaled Al-Moayyed, and vice rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Professor Salim Al-Reyashi.

So,the academic vacancies included assistant professors in fields of dermatology, gynaecology, obstetrics, general surgery and pediatrics.

It’s worth mentioning that the leadership of the university pays attention to this action that is seen an important step in the right direction for providing academic staff according to the standards set by the academic bylaws.
