Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the head of the Supreme Medical Council – the rector of 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the fourth medical licensing exam was taken today, at 21 September University, in 2022.

The deputy head of Supreme Medical Council Professor Abdul-Kareem Ali Shaiban along with vice rector for academic affairs,Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij; assistant to vice rector for academic affairs, Professor Jamil Mujalli; assistant to vice rector for student affairs, Professor Mohammed Al-Droubi and secretary general of the university, Mr. Abdul-Qaher Al-Asli, visited the exam halls for inspecting the progress of the exam process. They heard from the secretary of Supreme Medical Council Dr. Fadia Al-Dailami the mechanism of the exam that included 3723 applicants, having BA and diploma qualifications from different medical specializations.

Dr. Fadia Al-Dailmi clarified that the applicants took the exam in three periods of time, classified as follows: 1262 applicants took the exam in the first period, 1260 in the second period and 1198 applicants in the third period. She also mentioned that the first period was limited to the applicants of BA qualifications in medicine, pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, dentistry, labs, nursing, anaesthetics, radiology, midwifery and nutrition; and diplomas in operations technician, emergencies, paramedic, dentistry, radiology and anaesthetics. Regarding the second period, it was limited to those who had diplomas in pharmacy, labs and midwifery. And the third period was limited to those who had qualifications of paramedic and nursing diploma.
