Sana’a – The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Hussein Hazeb, inaugurated today the opening of the new branch of 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences.

During the opening, he heard from the rector of the university, Professor Mojahed Measar, an explanation of the new distinguished departments and specializations in the Deanship of Environment and Community Service. He explained that the opening of the new branch will not only contribute to absorb the increasing numbers into different faculties of the university, but also create an ideal environment for university education.

The Minister of Higher Education praised the role of 21 September University, which represents a solid base for academic education with its different specializations, as one of the fruits of the 21 September revolution.

In addition, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research participated in the workshop entitled “Approving the Strategy and Description of the Program and Courses of the Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy”, which was held at the new branch of the University.
In the workshop, professor Hazeb stressed the importance of the role of scientific researches in raising the level of medical services particularly in light of the aggression and siege.

He considered the continuation of academic work and the opening of two state universities (21 September and Jableh universities) as one of the fruits of the steadfastness of the building front in the academic education.

Among the delivered speeches in the workshop, Professor Measar reviewed the achievements that have been made and he appreciated the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Higher Education and academic and administrative staff of the university. He also called on everyone to keep on the enlightening role and work in a team spirit to achieve more successes.
