Sana’a – The player Noria Al-Azani, who is student at faculty of medicine, has come first in the sixth chess championship of the university rector’s cup, out of 26 players participating in the game from various university faculties.
While the player Mona Al-Wahashi, from the deanship of environment and community service, has come second. The player Aman Al-Thour from the deanship of the environment has come third, and the player Soha Abdul-Malik Al-Qalthi, from faculty of medicine has come third too (repeated).

However, the male student category competitions will conclude tomorrow, Wednesday, God willing, in which 75 players representing all faculties and centers of the university will participate. The final game will be played to decide the title of champion and runner-up between the players Hussam Hassan Al-Shaibani and Naji Adel Fadel, while the players Abdulkarim Saleh Ghaleb and Ahmed Moaz Muhammad Al-Absi will play for achieving third-place.
