Sana’a – His Excellency the rector of 21 September University, Professor Mojahed Measar, stressed that the medical field in our country is in an urgent need for medical staff that necessitates getting them responsible for doing their best as well as keep honing their skills in improving the quality of medical outputs through training and qualifying them professionally in this viable field.

In the beginning of his speech delivered today in a reception party thrown by academic affairs for the second and third batches of the new designated academics, His Excellency the rector of university welcomed them,indicating that they were selected according to the academic standards of the law of Yemeni universities and its effective regulations that ensure they will be strong and qualitative pillar for the university. In addition, their designation decrees were issued and they will be handed immediately at the end of the party.

Professor Measar also added that the university has set its sight on qualifying its staff, in different fields especially the qualitative ones, through opening new medical and applied MA programs. Despite of the aggression and blockade imposed on our country, it has been participating actively in qualifying different medical cadres as a part of its vision, mission and objectives.
He also thanked all academic staff,including heads of departments at the faculties, for their distinguished efforts exerted for getting successfully the best results and providing an educational service befitting worthily this national scientific edifice.
At the end of his speech, Professor Measar wished everyone success and luck in their second home – the university of revolution.

Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij, vice rector for academic affairs and Professor Khaled Al-Moayed, vice rector for students affairs delivered two speeches expressing their welcome and happiness with this galaxy of national academic staff, stressing that they will represent a qualitative addition to the university and under the leadership of His Excellency Professor Mojahed Measar who does his best for the sake of succeeding the educational process that reflects the successive successes for the university and serves as a distinguished model for state or private universities.

The event was attended by assistants to vice rector, deans of faculties and their deputies, heads of departments, registrar general, director-general for academic affairs and staff of the university.The party included a number of participations, in particular two speeches delivered by the assistant to vice rector for academic affairs and the dean of quality and academic development center.
