Sana’a -21 September University started today carrying out the code of professional conduct that includes all ethics related to public job.
In the ceremony which was attended by assistant to vice rector for academic affairs Prof. Jamil Mujalli, assistant to vice rector for students affairs Prof. Mohammed Al-Droubi, secretary general of the university Mr. Abdulqaher Al-Asali, deans of faculties, deputy deans and the administrative and academic staff, the undersecretary of civil service ministry Mr. Abdullah Haider said, “the main aim of the code of conduct is to confirm that the job is to help and serve people and it stands as a an act of worship for Allah. Accordingly, the staff should adhere to the professional ethics and embody the best behaviour.”
Haider also said that the publication of the code of conduct would enhance the position of the staff faithfully and practically, indicating that its contexts are extracted from the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the prophet.
Haider reaffirmed that the recruitement of the staff of the university would be a top priority during the coming period. He appreciated the interest of the leadership of the university represented by the rector Professor Mojahed Ali Measar who was the first one in implementing the code of professional conduct.
At the end of the ceremony, the code of conduct and forms were handed to all staff for signature.
