With an active participation of 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences, and within the framework of implementing the national vision projects for building the modern Yemeni state, ministry of public health launched today the workshop on preparing the national strategy for enhancing the quality of health care. The workshop was organized by general administration for quality assurance and patient safety and in cooperation with WHO. As a representative of 21 September University, the dean of center of development and quality assurance Professor Muneer Al-Wessabi gave a lecture on steps and stages for preparing the national strategy for improving the quality of health care.

Professor Al-Wessabi clarified the steps of environmental analysis (SWOT) of the quality of health care in hospitals by using the latest methodologies and regional and international standards.

It is worth mentioning that the three-day- workshop will target the senior administration officials in 11 auhorities and hospitals. The national team for preparing the strategy will seek to analyze the reality of the health care quality and the prospects of solving them in scientific methodology with participation of the concerned parties for providing and improving the health care.
