Ramadan 23, 1444 AH
Sana’a – Under the auspices, in attendance and supervision of His Excellency the rector of the university – head of Supreme Medical Council Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, a charitable iftar banquet at Al-Shawkani Orphanage was held today, 1444 AH. The iftar banquet was organized by 21 September university, in partnership with Supreme Medical Council and Yemen Al-Saeed hospital. They also held a cultural night for marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali Bin Abi-Taleb ( PBUH) and the international day of Al-Quds.
The iftar banquet was held in coordination with local council of Al-Sabeen district and it was attended by the leadership of the university, Supreme Medical Council, Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital and Al-Sabeen district.
In a special statement to the media center of the university, Professor Mojahed Measar said that such a charitable Ramadan event was held as a part of the duties of the community to please that social class, indicating that making the orphans feel happy and cheerful must be in the list of priority especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
To add, a cultural night was held for marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH) and the international day of Al-Quds. The event saw a large attendance. A valuable sermon on the two occasions was preached by deputy minister of higher education and scientific research Professor Ali Yahya Sharafuddin.
