Ramadan 3, 1444 AH.
Sana’a – With a participation of 21 September University, the first meeting of student affairs board was held today at academic accreditation council. The meeting was chaired by minister of higher education.
The participating delegation of the university included vice-rector for student affairs Professor Khaled Abdulkareem Al-Moayyed, his assistant Professor Mohammed Al-Droubi, registrar-general Mr. Ali Mohammed Madar, assistant registrar-general Mrs. Khadijah Mohammed Al-Hajri, and representative of the university at the ministry Mr. Mohammed Ali Jameel.
In the the meeting that was participated by vice-rectors, directors of admissions at the state university, a number of subjects were discussed on the agenda of the meeting. They were as follows:
- General policy of admissions in the coming year, 1444 AH – 2024.
- Amendments of the unified regulations of student affairs at Yemeni universities.
-Data entry by using SAR.
- Universities must obtain academic accreditation according to the timed plan.
-Formulating fixed and unified texts in official documents and studying systems used by all universities.
-Adopting a mechanism for secondary certificates that aren’t issued from Yemen.
