○Sana’a – As a representative of the university and its rector Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the secretary-general Mr. Abdul-Qahir Al-Asali partticipated in publiczing ceremony entited,” National Qualifications Documents”, in
the context of the national vision projects and the implementation of the council’s 2026 strategy. The event was organized by ministry of higher education and scientific research, represented by the council of academic accreditation and quality assurance, in partnership with the information technology center, and in the presence of the deputy prime minister for national vision affairs, Mr. Mahmoud Abdel-Qader Al-Junaid and ministers of higher education, technical education, planning and development, and a number of representatives of relevant authorities.
The national qualifications framework aims to enhance the recognition of qualifications, facilitate movement between education and training, support lifelong learning, improve the quality of education and training, support economic development, and link education to the labor market.
So representatives of ministries of higher education, technical education, education, health, civil service, social affairs, finance, planning, defense, justice, council of academic accreditation, medical council, endowments authority, UNESCO, rectors of public and private universities, police college, institutes and relevant parties participated in preparing the document with the aim of providing a unified national framework for qualifications in the various education sectors in the Republic of Yemen.
