Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university,Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, a speech celebration was hold today for marking the annual anniversary of the martyr’s day.

In the event that was attended by undersecretary of ministry of health, Dr. Alib Jahaf; undersecretary of Sana’a Province, Mr. Taleb Dahan; vice rector for graduate studies ,Professor Salim Al-Reyashi; assistant to vice rector for academic affairs, Professor Jamil Mujalli; secertary general of the university, Mr. Abdul-qaher Al-Asli; deans of faculties, deputy deans, and a number of officials and staff at the university, Professor Ali Sharf-Addin, deputy minister of higher education and scientific research, underlined the importance of commemrating the annual anniversary of the martyr’s day for learning lessons of martyrs’ sacrfices made for the sake of defending the homeland.

Professor Mutaia Abu-oraij,vice rector for academic affairs, delivered a speech on behalf of the rector of the university, prof. Mojahed Measar. He praised the status of the martyrs in the life and hereafter. He stated that the people have to follow their path and look after their familiy.
He added that the martyrs are the victory beacon, however; the Yemeni people are proud of their sacrifices and heroism. He also reviewed the honorable role of the university in this respect under the leadership of His Excellency professor Mojahed Measar, the rector of the university.

For his part, Professor Ibrahim Al-Hamdi, dean of deanship of environment and community service underlined that the will of Yemeni people can not be defeated and the aggression countries can not achieve their goals whatsoever they shed blood and destroy the public properties.
He pointed to the daily victories that are won by virtue of the martyrs’ sacrifices.

The celebration had different appreciated participations such as chants and poems, and the families of the martyrs were honored at the end of the event.
