Sana’a – 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences organized a workshop for publicizing the strategic trends of the faculties and reviewing, updating and describing the programs of BA and MA. The workshop aimed to introduce the strategic plan of the medical faculties, describe and update the academic curricula, which include a master’s degree in clinical pharmacy, nursing, intensive care, health administration and respiratory care, and a bachelor’s degree in laboratory medicine, nursing, and medical administration.

During launching the workshop organized by the center of development and quality assurance at the university, His Excellency the rector of 21 September university, chairman of the higher committee for quality, Prof. Mojahed Ali Measar, reviewed the steps taken by the university in completing the description of medical programs and courses for the different faculties and what has been accomplished in the academic vision for developing the outputs, and he considered those trends as some of the the achievements made by the university of 21 September revolution.

Professor Measar stressed the importance of updating the training methodologies of the faculties to meet the international health quality standards. He considered the workshop, coinciding with the National Day of Steadfastness, a qualitative leap along with the successful achievements have been made by the university during the years of aggression and siege.

For his part, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, a member of the academic accreditation council at the ministry of higher education and scientific research, praised the scientific developments that the university have achieved according to quality standards. He considered the workshop a witness that the university is proactive in embodying its vision of success and what it has achieved during a record period of qualitative leap at all levels.

For their parts, dean of the laboratory medicine, Dr. Ibtisam Al-Zabeedi and Dr. Munir Musleh Al-Wasabi, dean of the center of development and quality assurance at the university, gave presentation of the methodology that must be followed for preparing the strategies of the faculties that meet the requirements of the present and future period.

At the end of the workshop , the participants were honored with certificates of appreciation.
