Sana’a – 3695 applicants from different medical specialities took today the third medical licensing exam at 21 September University.
The exam was supervised by Supreme Medical Coucil. His Excellency the rector of the university – head of Supreme Medical Council Professor Mojahed Ali Measar stated that the number of the applicants who have BA is 1398 while the number of diploma holders is 2297. He pointed out that getting the licence reflects the proficiency and skills gained by the medical staff, adding the supreme medical council would head for its national progress that aims to improve the quality of medical service and keep it away from the bogus ones.
Professor Measar stated that the medical council is the sole offcial entity that grants licences according to the standards.
The launch was attended vice rector for student affairs Professor Khaled Abdulkareem Al-Moyed, secretary general of the medical council and his assistant.
