●Sana’a – 21 September University for Medical and Applied Sciences held today the graduation ceremony of more than 500 students graduated from the faculty of medicine.
At the graduation ceremony which was attended by a large number of officials, the governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, a number of university rectors , university vice rectors and their assistants, faculties deans and their deputies, heads of academic departments, thousands of students, families of the graduates, and university staff, the member of the Supreme Political Council Mr. Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi praised such an achievement made by the university.
Al-Houthi thanked everyone who taught the graduates. a number of speeches were delivered by Ministers of Higher Education, Mr. Hussein Hazib, Public Health and Population, Professor Taha Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, Public Works and Roads, Engineer Ghaleb Mutlaq, and dean of the faculty, Professor Salwa Al-Ghamiri. They praised the spirit gained by that distinguished batch of graduates, who received their education and training in the tragic and difficult circumstances, under bombardment, aggression, siege, and the interruption of salaries, stressing the importance of continuing the educational process and not stopping at such station, but rather a starting point for further education, learning, and performing the medical mission that they took their medical oath today.
In his speech on the occasion, His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, indicated that the graduates wove letters of excellence and songs of ecstasy from the beauty of this day as the most precious day of their lives and their future alike. They also made their brilliance through their diligence and perseverance until they reached their greatest joy, which represents the joy of the nation.
Professor Measar said that 21 September University represented the issue of national unity, as its name does not belong to any geographical region because it includes all the people of the nation and expresses the orginality, greatness, and strength of the Yemeni people. He added that the 21 September University is the absolute value that expresses the entire nation, all the Yemenis, the Yemen’s plains, mountains, coffee, fruits, seas, coasts, urban areas. At the end of the event, the gaduates were honored with certificates of appreciation.
