Sana’a – His Excellency Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, the rector of 21 September University, stressed that Al-Sarkha slogan began in Maran mountains and resonated today in all over world. It became as a title for refusing to submit and surrender for the forces of hegemony and the global arrogance. He added that Al-Sarkha regarded as a motive for all free people in the world to get them leave the state of dependence on the enemies. Professor Measar said today, in his speech at the ceremony held at 21 September University on the occasion of the commemoration of
Al- Sarkha Slogan, that slogan remained to stay despite the wars and obstacles that had it.
It also spread to go further up to the revolution of 21 September. So 21 September University was named after 21 September revolution and was one of its fruits. Consequently, the academic and administrative staff keep moving on achieving the goals of the university till it has a prominent place on the local and regional level.

The event, that was attended by vice- rector for students affairs, undersecretary of Sana’a province, assistants of the rector, deans of faculties, academic and administrative staff of the university, had different participations.
