Sana’a – Under the auspices of His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar, 21 September University marked the annual anniversary of the leader martyr and the president martyr, Saleh Al-Samad.

In the event which was attended by vice rector for academic affairs, Professor Mutaia Abu-Oraij; vice rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Professor Salim Al-Reyashi; assistant to vice rector for academic affairs,Professor Jamil Ahsen Mujalli; deans of faculties of medicine, laboratory medicine and higher nursing; and secretary general Mr. Abdulqaher Al-Asali; His Excellency the rector of the university Professor Mojahed Ali Measar delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of commemorating such an anniversary for personifying the values of sacrifice, redemption, patience and real patriotism.

Professor Measar said  ” we are commemorating the anniversary of the two martyrs in these blessed days in order to follow their example, as two patriots who sacrificed themselves for defending the homeland and preparing the ground of Quranic approach.

Professor Measar touched on the virtues of the leader martyr, the president martyr, the Quranic school where they graduated from, and their sacrifices for the sake of defending the homeland, dignity and national sovereignty.

The event was attended by deputy deans, assistant secretary – general Mr. Rifaqi Al-Aqbari and a number of academic and administrative staff. It also included  speeches and an expressive poem of the martyrs.
