Sana’a- On behalf of the academic and administrative staff, the rector of the university – the head of supreme medical council, Professor Mojahed Ali Measar sent his deepest condolences on the death of the great Yemeni poet Professor Abdulaziz Al-Maqaleh.

With his departure, Yemen and Arab nation have lost one of the most prominent writers, critics and poets, who left behind a wealth of creativity. He held various academic and administrative positions, including the rector of Sana’a University, the largest university in Yemen.

Professor Measar referred to the patriotic stances of the late Professor Al-Maqaleh in defence of the revolution, republic and unity, who chose to side with his homeland in the face of the US-Saudi aggression and provided a true example of commitment to the national cause.
